Souby has been working on his eclectic style of photography for 35 years.
Endeavoring to master the technical aspects of the camera, film and print,
and on to the seemingly limitless aspects of the digital.
The circle complets with a product of paper and ink archivally durable,
and comparatively the same product that's hanging on walls of
museums and gallerys around the world.
The new concepts are void of chemicals, light restrictions,
and physical damage. Except for the learning curve, camera, computer, and
printer is all that is necessary to achieve an archival print that will last hundreds
of years. The new concept of digital prints with archival ink, and acid free paper,
has taken the photographer to a place of freedom of expression unique
to the 21st century. This is where Souby lives free to draw apon experience
and personal aestheitcs.
